The PURE Experience

A five-star retreat, six floors above Orchard Road

PURE was built on a simple belief: hair health begins at the scalp, and scalp health begins with rest. Every service we offer is designed around energy balance and natural healing.

Guest resting in a calm treatment room after a scalp ritual

We don't just treat your hair. We care for your scalp, your mind and your energy.

The PURE philosophy draws on two ideas that have always belonged together: the five elements — Earth, Water, Fire, Air and Ether — and the chakra map of the head. One describes how a treatment should feel. The other describes where it should go.

Bring them together and a scalp treatment stops being maintenance and becomes a ritual. That is the whole of it.

The Five Elements

A language for touch

Earth

Grounding

Steadiness and structure. Earth work settles a restless mind and returns weight to the body through firm, rooted pressure.

Water

Flow

Movement and release. Water guides drainage and circulation from the shoulders upward, carrying away what has collected.

Fire

Vitality

Warmth and activation. Fire arrives as heated botanical oil that awakens the roots and restores energy to the scalp.

Air

Clarity

Space and lightness. Air work opens the brow, temples and breath — the antidote to a head that will not stop thinking.

Ether

Stillness

The quiet above everything else. Ether closes each ritual at the crown, where purification becomes stillness.

The visit

How a ritual
unfolds

Slow, deliberate massage work during a PURE head spa ritual
  1. 01

    Arrival & reading

You sit, you breathe, and we look. Scalp condition, tension patterns, the week you've had — the treatment is composed from what we find.

  2. 02

    The cleanse

Warm water, low-foam botanical cleansers, and slow hands. Build-up is lifted before anything else begins.

  3. 03

    The ritual

Pressure, warmth, oil and drainage move through the chakra points in sequence, from the base of the skull to the crown.

  4. 04

    The stillness

Every ritual closes at the crown with a cool mist and a few minutes of nothing at all. Most people don't want to sit up.

  5. 05

    The finish

A gentle blow-dry, a glass of tea, and a short note on how to care for your scalp until we see you next.

The Chakra Connection

Seven points where the week collects

We use the chakra map as a wellbeing framework — a way of naming where tension gathers and working it in a considered order. It is not a medical treatment, and we never present it as one.
